10 Lessons from a stoplight
The Lord used a stoplight to remind me that He doesn’t work the same way all the time. Here’s my story.
Every morning when I arrive at this particular stoplight, it’s on red. Even if it’s green when I’m approaching, it turns to red by the time, I get to it. It’s one of those lights that change quickly.
A few weeks ago, as I approached the stoplight, I slowed down, because I expected it to change to red. It didn’t. Even though, I’d slowed down, it was still on green when I got to it. As I went through the light, the Holy Spirit quicken a few things in my spirit.
God is always at work.
God’s timing is perfect.
Every challenge has an expiry date.
Be alert, things change in the blink of an eye.
Even though the situation may be similar to one that I had experienced, God can work it out in a different way.
Don’t let yesterday’s miracle, keep you from receiving today’s miracle.
“Let not your heart be troubled…” St John 14: 1 (KJV)
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)
Green means go.
