Pray with understanding

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.” 1 John 5:14 (KJV) Many times bad news motivate us to pray. We can’t see our way out of a situation so we take it to The One who knows us best. That is always a good thing. It is at the throne of grace and mercy that we will receive all our answers.

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) The Bible encourages us to pray.

“Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 (KJV)

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”James 5:16 (KJV) Remember, “The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.” Psalm 34:15 (KJV) Above all, know that God is “...a great King over all the earth” so pray with understanding. You can be confident because victory is sure. From God’s perspective, there are no failures, just possibilities. No matter how many wrong turns you take, God knows how to redirect your life and place you back on the right track. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (KJV)

Let me hear from you.
